I have experienced back and neck pains for over 30 years. I have gone to neurologists, chiropractors, physical therapists, multiple x-rays, MRI's, tests of all kinds, and many pain specialists with limited results. The chiropractor helped me the most, but reached a level 2 years ago at which he wasn't being effective anymore. I had pretty much given up hope for relieving my discomforts when a friend from our church family suggested that I try acupuncture. She had similar problem areas as to mine and has gotten great results from acupuncture. I was skeptical about having needles poked into my body from stories I had heard. Dr. Chuan Melody Shi is a miracle worker as far as I'm concerned. I witnessed immediate pain relief in my neck, leg, and back after the first session. I have also experienced pain relief in my hands and feet which I was told was caused by arthritis. I inquired about acupuncture helping to open up sinuses and I now am able to breathe through my nose for the first time in as long as I can remember.
Melody, as Dr. Shi prefers to be called, is a very personable young lady who has studied in China and visits her family there during the year. She takes the time to explain to you what she is doing and how a person can help themselves through proper diet and healthy lifestyles. She offers and explains benefits of herbal remedies, does not push them on you, but offers them as alternatives to improving ones physical conditions. She also likes to chat with you and share personal experiences, which I have found refreshing in this increasingly impersonal world of ours.
I would highly recommend Classic Healing Center and Melody to anyone experiencing any of the physical issues I have mentioned from my own situation. She is very professional but a fun person and really takes good care of her clients.
